BEFORE YOU COME

Quick Answers

Is the rodeo family-friendly?
Yes. The Family Fun Fest is built around kids — bounce houses, a petting zoo, and lots of room to run around — and the rodeo itself is a great first rodeo for younger fans. Kids 3 and under are free with a paying adult.
What happens if it rains?
The rodeo and Family Fun Fest run rain or shine. Severe weather (lightning, hail) may delay the rodeo events — we’ll keep ticket holders updated via email and on our social channels.
Where do I park?
Parking is free at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. VIP ticket holders get priority parking near the main entrance. Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the event you want to catch — the lot fills up fast.
What should I wear?
Anything comfortable. Boots and a hat are fully encouraged. The grandstand is partially covered — if you’re sensitive to sun, plan accordingly. Castle Rock evenings can be cool, so bring a layer for the post-rodeo Curtis Grimes set.
Can I upgrade my rodeo ticket to All-Access for the whole weekend?
Yes. Email [email protected] or call 303-351-2360 and we’ll get you bumped up to the All-Access Weekend Pass.
Food & drinks?
Multiple Colorado food trucks will be on-site throughout the day. Both cash and card are accepted. Outside food and drinks are not permitted inside the venue.
