Erin Lee at RMV Freedom Fest 2026

Erin Lee is the founder and executive director of Protect Kids Colorado and a front-line parental rights advocate whose testimony has shaped legislative debates across the state. She speaks Friday daytime at the RMV Freedom Festival.

ABOUT ERIN LEE

Erin Lee is the founder and executive director of Protect Kids Colorado, a grassroots nonprofit focused on parental rights, child safety, and transparency in K-12 education across the state. Her advocacy emerged after her own family encountered policies in Colorado schools that bypassed parental notification on issues affecting her children’s well-being.

Through Protect Kids Colorado she has organized parent coalitions across nearly every school district in the state, testified repeatedly before the Colorado state legislature on parental rights and child safety, and connected affected families with legal resources and policy advocates.

At Freedom Festival 2026 she shares what she has learned mobilizing parents at the local level — what is actually happening inside Colorado classrooms, what the policy landscape looks like, and what every parent can do to engage.
